Milissa Link is an inspired teacher who loves to share her passion for yoga. She brings wisdom, strength and compassion to her teaching. She began her study of yoga in 1980 at the SYDA Foundation in New York and became a certified yoga instructor in 1994 at Sivananda Ashram in the Bahamas.

She continued her studies at Kripalu Center, receiving certification in Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy in 1996.She has taught public classes in the Twin Cities since 1994, and has also taught privately, for individuals and groups.

Milissa has taught yoga at arts organizations, universities, health clubs and corporations. She has led yoga retreats in the United States and Mexico.

Milissa guides students toward a deeper connection with the earth through grounding practices, breathing, mindful movement and meditation. She supports people, during all phases of life, in awakening to greater compassion and inner peace.

She is trained in craniosacral therapy and energy work, in addition to yoga therapy, and offers wellness services to the community. Milissa recently developed Tot Yoga, a mindful movement program for toddlers. She is furthering her work with children at Bright Water Montessori in North Minneapolis. In 2009 she became an AMI certified Montessori Assistant.
